The Story Behind the Studio

I’m a digital‑design and illustrated‑creation mad scientist — part artist, part inventor — forging 3D‑printed contraptions, mechanical oddities, and pixel‑powered magic in a workshop that rattles, clanks, and occasionally threatens to explode. Everything I make comes with a heavy dose of steampunk industrial flair, like it crawled out of a brass‑plated machine that definitely wasn’t OSHA‑approved.

Ohh, I do dabble in otherworldly home‑decor pieces too — designs from my un‑steampunk industrial collection. They’re crafted for the little folk (let’s say under three feet tall), along with general holiday curiosities and other eccentric creations that keep the forge humming year‑round.

My creative spellbook lets me turn wild ideas into pixel‑perfect digital designs, physical objects, animated chaos, and contraptions that look like they were assembled during a lightning storm. Who needs a magic wand when you’ve got an overachieving computer, a stylus that behaves like a live wire, and a row of 3D printers running on pure hope and questionable engineering?

Where It All Began

Dwight’s Craft LLC sparked to life in the sunny Orlando metropolitan area back in April 2022 — though the creative engine behind it had been grinding, sketching, welding, and evolving for decades before the name ever went on paper. The studio has worn more identities than a shapeshifting gremlin in a theme‑park gift shop: Southwest Cartoons, 2Xtreme, Mystical Oddities LLC… packing over thirty years of creative experience into one ever‑evolving workshop. Well really, if you look at it, I started designing in grade school — mostly cats that looked suspiciously like potatoes and somehow - that turned into a lifelong creative obsession.

And let’s clear this up before rumors start: “Company” makes it sound like I’ve got a whole industrial factory of workers hammering away in the background. Nope. It’s just me — the entrepreneur, CEO, janitor, shipping department, customer service hotline, and perpetually over‑caffeinated artist. If you call the corporate office, you’re basically ringing my kitchen while I’m elbow‑deep in a project.


The Creative Journey

This whole adventure started with potato‑cats and notebook doodles, then spiraled into commissioned projects for friends and family who couldn’t escape fast enough. From there, the madness expanded into designs, illustrations, props, and creative builds for family entertainment parks, marinas, construction firms, restaurant chains, small businesses, and private clients who wanted something a little… unusual.

At this rate, I’ll probably end up animating, illustrating, retro‑fitting my printed parts into a rocket or two, and 3D‑designing the next moon mission. NASA hasn’t called yet but give it time — they might need a steampunk‑industrial‑gothic mascot.


A One‑Man Creative Universe

My shelves are stacked with original artwork, handmade treasures, and contraptions that look like they crawled out of a steampunk dreamscape with a slight gothic attitude. Nothing here is hiding in a drop‑shipping bunker or orbiting Mars — unless you ordered genuine space rocks, in which case I can neither confirm nor deny their planetary origin.

Every piece ships directly from my workshop to your doorstep, fueled by caffeine, chaos, and industrial‑grade determination. And here’s the important part: all purchasing is handled through my Etsy shop, where every listing is crafted, photographed, written, and shipped by me.
